EMC and Signal Integrity Training Workshop
Design for EMC/SI (Electromagnetic Compatibility & Signal Integrity) is our flagship EMC design class. It addresses the control of EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) at the box level through proven design techniques. This three-day EMC and Signal Integrity Training course provides a comprehensive treatment of EMC/SI “inside the box.” This includes digital and analog circuits, printed circuit board design, power electronics, I/O treatments, mechanical shielding, and other related components. Please note that this EMC and Signal Integrity Training class does not address “outside the box” issues, such as cable design, power wiring, and other systems-level concerns. Day 3 covers EMI Troubleshooting Guidelines, including case studies. Each student will receive a copy of the EDN Magazine Designer’s Guide to EMC by Daryl Gerke and William Kimmel, along with a complete set of lecture notes.
